After a sketchbook session that was all about mushrooms, these fascinating fungi kept haunting me at night- but in the best way possible. While almost falling asleep, I suddenly had this idea to try and create a small mushroom world with cardboard and paint.

It’s been a while since I created mini sets like this as photographed illustrations, and I’m glad that this midnight thought found me! 🙂
