March sketches

We’re already rolling into a new month, and I haven’t photographed all my sketches from the past month yet- so I might quickly add them before this post goes live, or move them to next month.
My favourite personal page is from my bucket list item: ice skating on a frozen lake:

But looking back, my sketchbook reflects the hidden activities of nature around this time of the year. It all starts deep under the ground when the soil slowly warms and everything starts moving and growing.
It might not be obvious to anyone watching these pages, and they might not be the best or pretty, but I can feel a shift.
