Most of the time there is no need to travel far away to be able to get lost. It only takes some boots, a camera or a sketchbook to wander around and dissolve in the fresh air of the surroundings. And the dogs, yes, I never like to leave without them 🙂

When you step outside, a strong but delicious smell of cut wood welcomes you. Although I miss some of the dark forest roads, it’s lovely to see the light finding its way over the bare hills, melting the snow and ice on its way.   Everywhere around you little creeks crawl back to the lakes.
