The 13th of December, there is a bit of extra light on these dark Swedish days when Saint Lucy’s day is celebrated. Sparkling candles and of course saffron buns! Last years we made an tasted them for the first time and for this year we had a bit of a special idea – which might be blasphemy to the Swedes, but we loved it.
So what did we do?
This week we also celebrate our first year in Sweden and as true Belgian we thought about mixing the Swedish culture with the Belgian and we added…. (no not beer) chocolate (!!) to the traditional recipe 🙂
