In the land of the midnight sun.
The longest day has passed and the shortest season, summer, introduced itself with a glowing sun just behind the horizon. Some people say that from now on it all goes downhill to another long and dark winter but I first and foremost look forward to long summer evenings with campfires, picking fresh berries and swimming in clear blue lakes. I’m looking forward to welcome some friends and family to our new home and share some of this new home country with them. And then I will welcome a new autumn with mushrooms, apples that slowly ripe at our trees and chilly fogs that swarm around the lakes turning the greens into vibrant red, orange and yellow. Autumn will bring back the quietness that summer will interrupt.
