Because of traveling to Belgium for a few weeks, I was just in time to visit the exhibition of Pernilla Jansson at Blås & knåda in Stockholm. With about an hour left before closing time on the last day, it was really just in time, but I’m glad I made it.
Being clueless about ceramics I felt lucky to hear Pernilla explaining about the materials she uses and the way her work is created. Even when you don’t know much about the process of ceramics, you feel when entering this space, the subtle play of textures and materials that interchange from feeling very light to very solid- even if it’s not.
